The EBZ230M-2H bolter miner is an integrated mining machine combining tunneling cutting and simultaneous rock bolting, engineered for hard-rock mines and high-risk roadway construction projects worldwide. Equipped with a dual-mode cutting motor rated 230 kW/135 kW, it cuts rock with uniaxial compressive strength up to 90 MPa and delivers balanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness under regular 65 MPa hard-rock conditions. Fitted with two independent bolting units, the machine completes roof and sidewall anchoring during tunneling to eliminate the separate post-tunneling support phase and greatly shorten total roadway construction duration. The modular split design limits the heaviest single non-detachable component to 5.2 tons for easy segmented underground transportation. Covering a bolting height range of 3.5–5.1 m, it excels in long-distance roadway projects requiring strict roof stability control and handles hard strata efficiently as a core solution for parallel excavation-and-support workflows.

The 230 kW high-power mode tackles extra-hard strata while the 135 kW mode saves energy in ordinary rock conditions. Dual rotating speeds of 46 r/min and 23 r/min plus a 700 mm telescopic cutting stroke reduce jamming against interbedded hard rock and irregular surrounding rock, allowing operators to adjust cutting rhythm according to real-time strata properties.

 

Heavy-duty undercarriage for stable mobility across rough underground terrain

The 88-ton machine distributes weight evenly via 2.86 m widened tracks to maintain a 0.17 MPa ground pressure for outstanding anti-slip and anti-sinking performance. ±18° gradeability together with 250 mm cutting-head sumping depth and 350 mm shovel-plate sumping depth continuously clears floor gangue for smooth travel on slopes and uneven ground. The 3.6 m wide shovel plate collects muck over a large zone to match high-intensity cutting output and minimize blockage-related downtime.

 

Wide bolting parameter coverage for multi-section roadway compatibility

Bolting height ranges 3.5–5.1 m and bolting width ranges 4.5–6.1 m to fit medium-and-large span roadways. Two bolters reinforce roof and sidewalls simultaneously, suiting main haulage roadways and return air roadways of diverse cross-section sizes.

 

Modular split transportation for convenient deployment in global mines

Split components including front frame, rear frame, front conveyor and rear support frame can be shipped separately; the maximum single component weight of 5.2 tons fits narrow underground haulage passages. The 132 kW oil pump motor works with internationally mainstream mine power supply AC1140V-50Hz, supporting stable long-duration full-load operation with low failure rates and easy on-site maintenance for overseas mining sites.
