EBZ160 Roadheader‑ Thin‑Seam Tunneling Project in Inner Mongolia Coal Mine

EBZ160 Roadheader‑ Thin‑Seam Tunneling Project in Inner Mongolia Coal Mine

This project is located at a state‑owned coal mine in Inner Mongolia. It features typical thin‑seam mining conditions with coal seam thickness of 1.1‑1.6 m. The tunnel height is limited. Conventional roadheaders have over‑height frames that cannot fit the narrow workspace, resulting in low tunneling efficiency, frequent top‑plate collision and delayed construction progress.

Our company supplied the complete EBZ160 low‑profile roadheader together with matched cutting heads and scraper conveyor spare parts. Optimized for reduced overall height, this machine perfectly fits low‑height thin‑seam roadways. It delivers stable cutting power for fast cutting of coal and rock strata.

After commissioning, single‑shift tunneling advance increased greatly. It solved key pain points including poor equipment adaptability and low advance rate in thin‑seam workings. Low failure rate minimizes downtime for maintenance. It helped the mine successfully achieve mining‑tunneling continuity. The reliable overall performance has won high recognition from the mine operator.
